A Jazz Festival not only ON an ISLAND, but with a Pre-Opening Night, for those arriving a Night Early. Thursday Night's JazzTrax Presentation the only night OUTDOORS Under the Stars with the Star of Smooth Jazz on an intimate stage right next to the waves of the Pacific Ocean rolling in.

Your Seats, Your Pair of Romantic Chaise Lounges, or Your Private Party Cabana YOURS from 6 pm on. Arrive at 6 pm when the Descanso Beach Bar opens for drink and food service for 90 minutes left of daylight, looking out over the Pacific Ocean, back towards the Southern California Mainland, a dreamy 26 miles away, before the show and darkness arrive at 7:30 pm.

Come enjoy the Vista View across the Pacific Ocean back towards the Southern California Mainland with 90 minutes left of daylight. Eat and drink on your Private Chaise Lounge Chairs or throw a party in your Private Cabana. They are YOURS from 6 pm on through the entire evening. Half with daylight still over the ocean and beach before Darkness Falls and the Unplugged Concert begins at 7:30 pm. REALLY…..There's MORE VALUE to your Unplugged Ticket than just the concert. Descanso Beach was fully remodeled with our Concert Section added Winter 2010. Further remodeling was done in 2012. The after dark view of the LIT CASINO from Descanso, as can be seen below, during the JazzTrax Unplugged Concerts is beyond description. What a way to start an extended 4 day Smooth Jazz Weekend………on an Island…………surrounded by sea. Remember DOORS OPEN to the beach at 6 pm for a Full Party Smooth Jazz Evening.
